‘Worship Yourself’

by Sophy Oliver

I enter on a whim
So quiet and so still
Deafening with judgement
To be accepted by Him

Here I sit and I wait
In this unknown called peace
Yet still feeling a fraud
To be accepted by Him

I do not know how long
Minutes, hours or days
One has to sit and wait
To be accepted by Him

But it is much longer
For me to realise
My true purpose here is
To be accepted by Me
