by Tom Saer

Forgetting this is what my time together

knows, considering

[I hit the bottom and]

the way that darkness has been put to use

since goodness knows BC.

illuminates the shame with preset ambiguity:

[I hit the bottom and]

Dilemma, start again: you’re likely

asking how we got in this

[Instrumental]

position, but I’ll hear you later on.

For now the bad-match purchases

and all the faulty wiring

will illuminate the bathroom floor to ask the new year’s favour
