we’ll have a love like
slow indie movies
two stubborn youths with
no cares or duties we’ll
kiss on the street and
laugh on the bus they’ll
not say a word they’ll
not bother us we’ll
steal mother’s blankets go
beneath them in the library we’ll
pretend we’re working hard but we’re just
giggling under quietly
you’ll bake me bowls of pasta and
i’ll write you little haikus you’ll
eat them with tomato sauce and
tell me that i like you we’ll
lay up on a mound beneath a
scary starry sunset
we’ll stay a short forever and
the end will make us upset then
we’ll tango back until we’re both
exhausted warm and dizzy and
we’ll do it all tomorrow too
cos we’ll not be too busy ❤
